Nano Technology the developed boon for Health. Nano Technology has poised a better way of Food Packaging. Manipulating Foods in this style gives food of low fats and still tastes great. An ample way of packing more nutrients than the usual way. It reduces the amount of usage of plastic and also builds the sensors where it tells whether the food is still fresh inside.

The Food Industry is unwittingly using the techniques of Nano Technology since years. A variety of Nano Technology products have come into use and few of them have hit the market.The regular way of Food Industries is not likely to adopt Nano technology unless it could benefit the business of their customers. One of the main uses is delivering more amounts of Vitamins and Nutrients through the food we eat.
Researchers have made a new technique where in edible coating is applied with an added functional ingredients applied to the freshly cut foods. This helps in the refrigeration of fruits and vegetables for a longer life. Research studies of years experiments revealed that Nano capsules loaded with alpha tocopherol and beta-carotene in edibles are dispersed, homogeneous film forms a flexible, inhibits enzymatic browning and prolongs the life of the Foods. The micro encapsulated capsules made are designed in such a way that it’s the size of a nanometric ball size ranging between 100-500 nm structured where you can internally place active substance such as Lemon / rosemary achieving through the wall of the fruit maintaining their conservation. Different flavors can be used instead to make the product attractive.Poly hybrid composites are used for the food packaging and membrane filters.
Nanotechnology processes are still in their infancy but has an unbeatable and exciting applications.Nano technology companies are using the applications to test the safety of their products.UK food researchers are running on the project on the conclusions on what will happen if the nano particles are ingested.Few data’s reveal the toxicology of the ingestion of nano particles and it doesn’t really mean that the nano particles are dangerous.
